Originals and evergreens, arranged by Leijonhufvud, are handled with the same unmistakable musical precision and warmth. Kristofer Johanson is the rhythmic engine of the trio. Always "on the beat" he guarantees swing, both with brushes and sticks. Mattias Hjorth's unusually melodious bassplaying is impressive, both in themes and solos. Johan Leijonhufvud is the obvious centerpiece of the trio. His guitar playing is simply of world class, and it could only be a matter of time before he gets the international recognition that he deserves. Enjoy!
